Ok, it all started when the Winnipeg Free Press started putting Sudoku puzzles on their diversions page some time in 2005. I was very soon hooked. Then catastrophe struck, they put their Sudoku puzzles in the middle of the page, on the fold. I tried folding the paper to accomodate this a few times, but basically gave up and went online to find them instead.
The problem with going online, and seeing how many other people were making these puzzles was that I soon became as interested in figuring out how they were made as in actually doing them. So, this site is my contribution to Sudoku online. I just started it in mid March 2006. It will develop a few more options in the near future.
You may have noticed that I'm not constrained to 9x9 or 1...9 puzzles. I figure if you're going to do something, play a bit. So whether its making square blue pancakes as well as round golden ones, or making Sudoku with colors, symbols and letters as well as numbers, I intend to amuse myself by doing things a bit differently than normal.
